Notes on two species of bee flies (Diptera: Bombyliidae) described from Iran by Linder
Willi Richters, a German entomologist interested in orthopterans, visited Iran in two separate expeditions during years 1954 and 1956. From these expeditions, he deposited 166 specimens of Bombyliidae in the Museum für Naturkunde, Stuttgart (SMNS). Linder (1975) studied these specimens and identified 42 species in 18 genera, including eight new species and two new subspecies. We found that two of his generic assignments were not correct and revise it.
