Dos nuevos instrumentos de medida romanos hallados en Fresno Alhándiga (Salamanca)
Those societies where goods are exchanged, as it was the case of the Roman world, tend to develop measure devices. In this ar ticle, we introduce two measure elements from Roman chronology which were discovered in a rural site called, Los Villares (Fresno Alhandiga), in the province of Salamanca. The discovery of this type of material is highly relevant as it is remakably scarce in this province and there are no similar pieces up to now. Both the lanx and the aequipodium presented in this work point to quotidian market contacts and the survival of the provision routes in the province of Salamanca as far as the late–ancient times.
