Morphological Variability in Cyanotis fasciculata (Commelinaceae) in Different Habitats in India and Lectotypification of Its Ten Heterotypic Synonyms
Morphological variability in Cyanotis fasciculata over a range of habitats in central and Peninsular India is illustrated and discussed. Cyanotis deccanensis and C. reutiana are synonymized with C. fasciculata. Lectotypes are designated for the names C. decumbens Wight, C. dichrotricha Stocks ex Wight, C. eriantha Hassk., C. fasciculata var. glabrescens C.B. Clarke, C. karliana Hassk., C. lawiana Wight, C. reutiana Beauverd, C. rosea Wight and C. thwaitesii Hassk.
