In Russia, it is not directly established by law. Marriage with a person who has not reached the age of 16 is concluded only if there are valid reasons, and the subjects of the Russian Federation are authorized to determine a list of special circumstances in which the specified age can be reduced to 14 years at all (paragraph 2 and 3 of Article 13 of the Family Code of the Russian Federation).
