This opinion article argues that responsible reporting on cerebral organoid research is not only an ethical imperative, but also critical for advancing the field and maintaining public engagement and trust in science. By examining the negative impacts of oversimplification and sensationalism, the article calls for a more responsible and nuanced approach to science communication.
