Uwarunkowania duszpasterstwa parafialnego w Polsce na początku XXI wieku

The author of the paper described the current determinants of ordinary pastoral work in Poland. In the area of social and cultural context he pointed to structural changes in the society, diversity in the labour market, social pluralism, changes in values and lifestyles. In the field of religious determinants, the author pointed to multi-directional changes in religiosity. He pointed to the process of secularization. It results in a selective approach to the doctrine and religious practices and the individualization of religiosity. The paper also discusses the role of the Church in the context of civic and democratic society.
