Agro waste ash like Rice Husk, groundnut shell, bamboo leaf, coconut shell can be used as reinforcement and applicable for various applications like automotive, structural components. From this current study, it’s clearly identified that addition of agro waste ash as reinforcement with Aluminium improves the properties of metal matrix composite. 摘要

目前,农业废弃物的可利用量非常巨大。由于金属基复合材料(MMC)的密度、高强度重量比、硬度、耐腐蚀性、抗疲劳性和抗蠕变性,大多数行业都更喜欢它。因此,它们与航空航天和汽车工业、海洋、体育、电子和自动化工业一起被广泛应用于结构应用。本文重点研究了利用不同的易得农业废灰制备的金属基复合材料的力学、摩擦学和腐蚀行为。稻壳、花生壳、竹叶、椰子壳等农业废弃物灰烬可用于加固,适用于汽车、结构部件等各种应用。从目前的研究中可以清楚地看出,添加农业废灰作为铝的增强材料可以改善金属基复合材料的性能。铝金属用这种增强材料已经显示出很高的比强度、屈服强度和极限抗拉强度,而且它会增加硬度,达到令人满意的耐腐蚀水平。
