A new Philippine record of the monotypic genus Scorodocarpus Beccari (Strombosiaceae) from Balabac Island, Palawan

Scorodocarpus borneensis (Baill.) Becc., a tree that exudes garlic or onion smell, was discovered growing in a secondary lowland forest of Balabac Island in the Palawan Biogeographic Region.
