摘要

这项研究考察了决定旱地农业系统采用CSA做法的因素。该研究回答了以下问题:(i)加纳农村小农户可获得的CSA实践类型是什么?,(ii)CSA做法在小农户中的采用率是多少?以及,(iii)加纳农村采用CSA做法的社会经济预测因素是什么?本文采用了混合方法参与式方法,包括对1061户家庭进行调查,并对15名关键线人进行访谈,辅以2次区域利益攸关方研讨会。该研究使用主成分分析(PCA)来检验小农户采用的气候智能农业类型。为了研究采用的驱动因素,应用了多项式有序概率模型。主成分分析结果表明,共有七(7)个不相关的维度,涉及23种通常采用的CSA实践——水智能实践、能源智能实践、营养智能实践、碳智能实践、天气智能实践、种植智能实践和知识智能实践。这7种类型解释了63.91%的总方差。PCA的结果表明,小农户不一定依赖单一的CSA做法来应对气候变化;而是利用实践的组合。有序probit模型的结果表明,推动CSA实践采用的因素在采用类型、农民的位置和制度因素上是混合的。本文有助于理解CSA实践的不同类型,并强调了推动小农采用CSA实践的各种社会经济因素。面对加纳和西非更广泛的气候变化,这对于CSA实践的升级至关重要。
