Precise and sensitive methods (homocysteine detection limit in the range of 1.1·10-6–7.8·10-6 M, relative standard deviation in the range of 1.5–4.6%) for the homocysteine determination have been developed, including spectrophotometric method, capillary electrophoresis (CE), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and kinetic method with the spectrophotometric detection.
