Among his affiliations were the Mitre Corporation, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Environmental Research & Technology, Dartmouth College's Thayer School of Engineering, and the University of Oklahoma (where he attained Professor Emeritus status in both electrical engineering and meteorology).
