The use of this method on a drone frame is presented with explanations of the various design phases. The goal of the optimisation was to be able to fit a battery with a larger capacity onto the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and compensate for its increased weight by reducing the weight of the drone frame using a generative algorithm.
