On the existence of Auslander–Reiten $n$-exangles in $n$-exangulated categories
Let $\mathscr{C}$ be an $n$-exangulated category. In this note, we show that if $\mathscr{C}$ is locally finite, then $\mathscr{C}$ has Auslander-Reiten $n$-exangles.
