本文以新喀里多尼亚的一新种K. novaecaledoniae sp. n.为基础，描述了Brachyglutini (pselaphiae: Goniaceritae)族Kieneriella gen. n.的新属。Kieneriella的上颌腭强拉长是在部落其他属中发现的一种不寻常的特征状态。将新分类单元与近缘分类单元进行了比较，并对其主要诊断特征进行了说明。
