A ideologia do empreendedorismo no campo da tecnologia da informação: adesões e rupturas a partir dos trabalhadores assalariados

: The article tries to understand the presence and sense of entrepreneurship ideology among employees in a professional category based on qualitative re-search among workers in the information technology segment in Santa Maria (RS State). It seeks to observe the extent to which adhesions and ruptures with the pre-dominant senses and meanings of entrepreneurship occur. It is about analyzing the motivations for engagement and disaffiliation with this perspective of econo-mic and political action. Based on interviews, questionnaires and documentary sources were observed structural and subjective aspects associated with the way of life and professional socialization, as well as working conditions and work tra-jectories. The article indicates that there are different motivations and ways of relating to entrepreneurship: by convictions, by the precariousness of the salary condition and/or by meaning ruptures.
