A previous study on the contamination of conduits in dental care units (results non published) has revealed the presence of <em>Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis</em> strain in water conduits. The isolation of this opportunist pathogenic agent led us to analyse its origin and dissemination process. The present study has been carried out to give evidence to the existence of a possible instrument-induced aspiration of contaminated aerosols from buccal cavities of patients.
