The frame, as the skeleton of the bogie, is the key load-bearing part of the bogie and the basis for the installation of other components, which connects the components of the bogie and transmits the forces in all directions. At present, the frame is welded with carbon steel plate. In the frame design of some vehicles, the bogie chamber is used as an additional air chamber, which is connected with the air spring to ensure the comfort of the vehicle. Due to the influence of external origin, with the passage of operating time, the structure cavity will appear rust phenomenon.
