Turn waste into wealth has a profound significance. The adsorption capacity of fly ash may be increased after chemical and physical activation. In this paper, we talk about some modifications of fly ash and some researches have discussed using modified fly ash to treat kinds of waste water which contain pollutions such like heavy metals, dye, fluoride and phenol.
