Generally, it has been obtained typically. Convolution method provides an easy approach towards obtaining the impulsive response of a lightly damped harmonic oscillator. This paper brings up the convolution method as an easy and effective approach for obtaining the impulsive response of a lightly damped harmonic oscillator and presents a new technological approach to solve the Ordinary differential equations. We extend this method to obtain the response of an overdamped oscillator.
