Electrodeposition of Ni-P alloy coatings

The effects of various operating and bath variables on the electrodeposition of Ni-P alloy coatings were studied. The amount of phosphorus in the coating and the cathode current efficiency were functions of the H3PO3, H3PO4 and NiCO3·2Ni(OH)2·4H2O contents, the temperature and the current density.
