Notice of RetractionIncrease N,P,K Use Efficiency by Interaction of Controlled-Release N and K
A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of controlled-release fertilizers and ratio of N to K on growth of mauls seedlings, interaction, P and K use efficiency and nitrogen balance. The results showed that the release of controlled-release nutritional elements accorded with requirement of mauls seedlings. Controlled release N increased use efficiency of K, and controlled release K increased use efficiency of N. Dry weight of plant, use efficiency of P and K were in the order of controlled-release N and K fertilizer (NK) >; controlled release N fertilizer (CN) >; soluble fertilizer (SF). The level of K had no effect on height and stem diameter, but affected the dry weight. The use efficiency of P was increased with more controlled-release K applied, but the dosage of common K had no effect on P use efficiency. The use efficiency of K was decreased with more controlled release K applied. Nitrogen use efficiency was in the order of NK>;CN>;SF, while loss ratio was in the reverse order. There was no difference in residual ratio between NK and CN but higher than SF. The dosage of controlled-release K had effect on use efficiency and loss ratio of N, while had no effect on residual ratio of N.
