This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The sample selected in this study was class X MIPA 1, X MIPA 2, and X MIPA 3. The results showed that students' motivation in distance learning was the text of the observation report to 100 students with a total of 54 items using a questionnaire. That the results consist of five categories of motivation in learning, namely a score of 1 for very low (SR), a score of 2 for low (R), a score of 3 for moderate (S), a score of 4 for high (T), and a score of 5 for very high (ST). A total of 1 student chose category 1 which is very low. Then as many as 2 students chose category 2 which is low. A total of 60 students chose category 3, which is moderate. Furthermore, as many as 17 students chose category 4 which is high. A total of 20 students chose category 5, which is very high.
