The basic aim of this work is to design and fabricate a safe, reliable and an efficient hydraulic braking system according to the required standards .Reliability, lightweight materials, manufacturing ease and costs, maximum braking force, safe stopping distance and manageable temperature are some of the considerations done for the braking system. Modelling and simulation are done in Spaceclaim 2020 and Ansys 2020R2.Topology optimization of brake disc is done to reduce the weight of the braking system done.
