The current study also aims at identifying the Gemba Kaizen technique, its development, goals, principles, characteristics and strategies, as its use at university education institutions may result in overcoming the problems which face Egyptian universities and can lead to continuous improvement. The descriptive method was used. The Study findings revealed that the use of Gemba Kaizen technique helps in creating the culture of change for all individuals. Moreover, the Kaizen strategy developed the Deming Circle or the Plan– Do – Check – Act (PDCA) model as it fulfills the continuous improvement at universities and enhances their capacities.
