Under different initial Zn2+ concentrations, reaction times, and temperatures, the adsorption efficiency and capacity were measured respectively. In addition, the adsorption equilibrium of D113 resin for Zn2+ obeyed the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model well; the adsorption process agreed with pseudo second-order kinetics model, and was dominated by chemisorption; ΔH>0 and ΔG>0 at different temperatures indicated the adsorption was a spontaneous endothermic process in nature.
