Intensitas Kebisingan dan Kemampuan Pendengaran Pekerja di Area IPA PDAM Delta Tirta Kabupaten Sidoarjo

Background: One of the work rooms at PDAM Delta Tirta, Sidoarjo Regency has a fairly high noise level of 91 dBA ,so it has a health risk to the workforce. Purpose: This study aims to determine the noise intensity and hearing ability of workers in the water treatment installation area of PDAM Delta Tirta.  Sidoarjo Regency. Methods: This type of research is descriptive observational. The variables of this research are noise intensity and hearing ability of workers in the water treatment installation area of PDAM Delta Tirta, Sidoarjo Regency. Measurement of noise intensity using a sound level meter and for measuring hearing ability using an audiometry tool. The data obtained will then be processed and presented in tabular form and then analyzed descriptively. Results: : The results of the study indicate that the noise intensity in the water treatment installation area of PDAM Delta Tirta, Sidoarjo Regency 50% meets the requirements and 50% does not meet the requirements, the hearing ability of the workforce is 100  % have normal hearing ability.   Conclusion: There are two rooms that have a noise intensity exceeding the threshold, namely the distribution pump room and the ultrafiltration room and the hearing ability of the workers at PDAM Delta Tirta who all have normal hearing abilities.
