Based on the palp structure, N. clivosa sp. n. seems to be especially similar to N. longipedella (Bösenberg & Strand, 1906) and N. marginella (Oi, 1960), both southeastern Palaearctic, as well as to the Oriental N. strandia (Blauvelt, 1936).
