This antenna is composed of a triangular slot fed with a microstrip triangular patch by coupling effect. This allows optimizing the size, the performances, and the characteristics of the UWB system. It can be noted that the VSWR is less than 2 over the entire bandwidth, from 3 GHz to 10.6 GHz. The proposed UWB antenna meets the FCC bandwidth authorization.
