Hairdresser salon as a public place can transmit infectious diseases, such as AIDS, hepatitis as well as viral, fungal, and skin diseases that are often due to non-compliance with hygiene principles. This study aimed to investigate the observance of health instructions regarding the prevention and control of Coronavirus disease in men's hairdresser salons in Birjand, Iran, in 2020.\nMaterials and Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive study, 145 hairdresser salons in Birjand were selected through the random sampling method. The data collection tool was a checklist that was prepared according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The obtained data were analyzed in SPSS software (version 18) using Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests at a significance level of ≤ 0.05.\nResults: The findings showed that the total mean score of the observance of workplace health and hygiene guidelines was 24.28±2.52 and the average observance of health instructions in the field of health and personal protection, building hygiene, tool and equipment hygiene, and food hygiene were 13.73±2.08, 2.31±0.68, 7.22±0.64, and 1.01±0.11, respectively. Observance of health instructions was found to have a significant relationship with age and geographical region (P≤0.05).\nConclusion: According to the results, it seems necessary to train hairdressers in terms of observing health instructions. 摘要

背景和目的:冠状病毒已成为影响世界大多数国家的全球性大流行。美发廊作为公共场所,可传播传染病,如艾滋病、肝炎以及病毒性、真菌性、皮肤病等,而这些往往是由于不遵守卫生原则而造成的。本研究旨在调查2020年伊朗Birjand男性美发沙龙对预防和控制冠状病毒病健康指导的遵守情况。材料与方法:本研究采用横断面描述性研究,随机抽样的方法,选取了Birjand地区的145家美发沙龙。数据收集工具是根据卫生和医学教育部的指导方针编制的核对表。所得数据在SPSS软件(version 18)中进行分析,采用Mann-Whitney检验和Kruskal-Wallis检验,显著性水平≤0.05。结果:调查结果显示,职工对工作场所健康卫生指导方针的遵守总分平均为24.28±2.52分,对健康与个人防护、建筑卫生、工具设备卫生、食品卫生等卫生指导方针的遵守总分平均为13.73±2.08分、2.31±0.68分、7.22±0.64分、1.01±0.11分。健康指导遵守情况与年龄、地理区域有显著相关(P≤0.05)。结论:根据研究结果,有必要对美发师进行遵守卫生须知的培训。此外,男性美发沙龙应该由健康专家持续监测。
