The haptic controller system consists of haptic controller hardware, haptic controller interface, and game engine module. The haptic controller hardware communicates with haptic controller interface module via serial communication. The game engine interface module performs physics-based interaction between haptic controller and virtual object. We designed the haptic controller interface with previously studied hardware and performed user tests.
