In this direction, this paper bridges this gap by comparing the three-phase doubly-fed induction generator (TPDFIG) to novel six-phase doubly-fed induction generator (SPDFIG) through modeling and simulation. The simulation results compare the performances of the stator side and rotor side outputs. Comparison between TPDFIG and SPDFIG are given the first time in the literature.
