How to make deep reductions in carbon emission is not only a huge challenge for the greatest consumer of coal, but also a revolution for China’s coal industry. The paper explores how to shrink CO 2 emissions during the lifetime of coal. The paper points out that increase of coal mine efficiency and productivity, green mining, utilization of coal mine methane and environment-friendly disposal of coal gangue can reduce CO 2 during coal mining; coal preparation and coal by wire can decrease CO 2 during coal preparation and transportation; improving combustion efficiency, CO 2 capture and storage (CCS) and coal transformation can lessen CO 2 during coal utilization. The paper also points out that Circular Economy Park is a practical way to develop a low carbon economy for coal industry. 摘要

煤炭在推动中国经济增长的同时,也造成了严重的污染和大量的二氧化碳排放。如何大幅减少碳排放,不仅是中国这个最大的煤炭消费国面临的巨大挑战,也是中国煤炭行业的一场革命。本文探讨了如何在煤炭全寿命期内减少二氧化碳的排放。指出提高煤矿效率和生产力、绿色开采、煤层气利用和煤矸石环保处理是减少煤矿开采过程中CO 2的有效途径;选煤和电煤都能减少选煤和运输过程中的CO 2;提高燃烧效率、二氧化碳捕集与封存(CCS)和煤炭改造可以在煤炭利用过程中减少CO 2。指出循环经济园区是煤炭工业发展低碳经济的一条切实可行的途径。构建了煤炭行业总量和各行业碳排放计量模型,以co2当量排放量为基础进行碳排放测算,并通过详细计算,以潜在的温室气体减排量为基础,运用情景分析法描绘了中国煤炭行业最可能的低碳路线图。
