The standard of knowledge that a trained person must possess changes from one period of time to another, in ever shorter time intervals. Thus, in order to become competitive, economic entities must invest in human resources, the main resource that brings added value over time. The purpose of the training and professional development of the personnel is to help the economic entity, in continuous development, to achieve its objectives by increasing the human and intellectual potential of the employees. Through the professional training of employees, the economic entity will contribute to the development of skills and competencies in order to increase professional performances, as well as their development, so that the future needs of the labor force for the economic entity are met, as much as possible, from within it. Presently, the issue of making investments in the intellectual potential of the staff and evaluating their efficiency is current and requires a detailed study.
