In order to achieve the proposed objective, a qualitative methodology with a documentary analysis approach was used. As units of analysis, we considered the spaces where the textbook makes explicit content associated with Modern Physics. Two levels of analysis were considered: the content associated with Quantum Theory and the crisis of Classical Physics in the face of the impossibility of explaining some quantum phenomena. The results indicated that the contents addressed in the textbook do not focus on the crisis of Classical Physics.
