The polyimides were well characterized by FT-IR, thermogravimetric analysis, dynamic thermomechanical analysis, dielectric measurement and tensile test. The flexibility of polyimide molecular chain was judged by the comparison of molecular volumes, molecular length and conformation transition energy through molecular simulations.
