Optimal Power Flow studies are also important in Generation Planning studies. Since it gives effective and efficient results, Optimal Power Flow (DC-OPF) which is a linearized formation of AC power flow with some assumptions is widely used. In this study, the DC-OPF problem is modeled as a linear problem and technical and economic results regarding generation planning are obtained. Garver-6 Bus test system is used as the test system.
