It has shown great potential in bringing the revolutionary change in clinical practice. This review aimed to summarize the progress AI has made recently in several fields of medicine, including patient screening, diagnosis and treatment of cancerous and non-cancerous diseases, pharmaceutical development, clinical trial management and basic science.
