How to encourage inexperienced debriefers to concentrate on dialogue and communications strategies rather than engage in an unstructured debate on technical or behavioral abilities is one of the main challenges in training people to debrief a high-fidelity simulation session. We explore the use of Lego bricks in this study to build straightforward, standardised situations that debriefers in training can use to practice leading discussion.
