The data were analyzed by applying Pearson's chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, a 1-way analysis of variance test, and Tukey's post hoc Honest Significant Difference test.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The mean umbilical cord separation time of the newborns was found to be 6.9 (±2.1) days in the intervention group I, 8.8 (±2.9) days in the intervention group II, and 9.5 (±3.4) days in the control group. The difference between the groups was statistically significant (P < .01).
