Significantly more fascicles were visible distal to the medial epicondyle compared with more proximal sites, as well as in men compared with women. Finally, higher body weight was related to a significantly smaller number of fascicles being seen. A 22 MHz transducer depicts more details of the intraneural architecture than a 15 MHz transducer.
