Nuclear Fusion and Plasma Physics (Quarterly) is the journal of Nuclear Fusion and Plasma Physics of the Chinese Nuclear Society, a core journal of Chinese physics and atomic energy technology, hosted by the Southwest Institute of Physics of the Nuclear Industry, founded in 1980, and openly circulated at home and abroad.

Based on the idea that science and technology are the first productive forces, the journal introduces the latest scientific research results, promotes academic exchanges, promotion of achievements, cultivation of talents and improvement of science and technology, and serves the construction of socialist material civilisation and spiritual civilisation. The journal mainly publishes creative scientific research results and academic papers on the theory, experiments, engineering and diagnostic techniques of controlled nuclear fusion and plasma physics, as well as the latest research developments in this field both at home and abroad, and also publishes the results of the research and application techniques of low-temperature plasma physics. The journal has two columns: ‘Nuclear Fusion Engineering’ and ‘Plasma Physics’.
