Animal Husbandry and Feed Science is an academic journal supervised and sponsored by the Academy of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Sciences of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The journal was founded in 1973, the original name of the journal is “Inner Mongolia Animal Husbandry Science”, changed to the current name in 2003. Domestic uniform issue number: CN 15-1228/S; international standard issue number: ISSN 1672-5190; international journal code (CODEN): XYSKAX. Animal Husbandry and Feed Science is one of the first academic journals recognized by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), and has been selected as one of China's scientific and technological core journals (2021 and 2022 editions), RCCSE China's Core Academic Journals (2017-2020), and China's Agricultural and Forestry Core Journals (2020 edition); It is included in the full text of domestic academic resource databases, such as Zhi.com, Wanfang, Wipu, Superstar, etc. The English abstracts of the articles published in the journal are included in the CAB Abstracts database under the Research Center for Agricultural and Biological Sciences of the United Kingdom (CABI) , and in the full text of the database of the U.S. EBSCO; and it is a source journal of the “Annual Report of Impact Factor of Chinese Academic Journals”.

《畜牧与饲料科学》是由内蒙古自治区农牧业科学院主管、主办的学术期刊。刊物创刊于1973年，原刊名为《内蒙古畜牧科学》，2003年更改为现刊名。国内统一刊号：CN 15-1228/S；国际标准刊号：ISSN 1672-5190；国际期刊代码（CODEN）：XYSKAX。现为双月刊，正文页码128页，国内外公开发行。《畜牧与饲料科学》期刊是国家新闻出版广电总局认定的第一批学术期刊，入选中国科技核心期刊（2021版、2022版）、RCCSE中国核心学术期刊（2017—2020）、中国农林核心期刊（2020版）；被知网、万方、维普、超星等国内学术资源数据库全文收录；刊载文章的英文摘要被英国农业与生物科学研究中心（CABI）旗下的CAB Abstracts数据库收录，被美国艾博思科（EBSCO）数据库全文收录；是《中国学术期刊影响因子年报》统计源期刊。
