Approved by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China, Jiangxi Plant Protection has been renamed as Biohazard Science (CN 36-1320/S, ISSN 2095-3704) since 2012, with Jiangxi Agricultural University as the supervising organization, and it is a quarterly journal for domestic and international public circulation. Biological Disaster Science is an academic journal, which mainly publishes unpublished literature reviews, research papers and research briefs on biological disaster research in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and aquaculture (including research on pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, pests, pest grasses and other harmful plants, pests and pests such as rodents, and their prevention and control). It is organized into the following columns: Research Review, Plant Protection, Forest Protection, Animal Disease Control, Aquatic Protection, Countermeasures for Prevention and Control, and Research Bulletin.

经国家新闻出版总署批准，从2012年开始《江西植保》更名为《生物灾害科学》（CN 36-1320/S，ISSN 2095-3704），江西农业大学为主管单位，季刊，国内外公开发行。 Biological Disaster Science期刊是学术性刊物，主要刊载有关农业、林业、畜牧和水产方面生物灾害研究（包括对细菌、真菌、病毒等病原微生物、害虫、害草及其它有害植物、害鼠等有害生物及其防治研究）的未曾发表过的文献综述、研究论文和研究简报等，设研究综述、植物保护、森林保护、动物疫病防治、水产保护、防控对策、研究简报等栏目。
