This tradition is expressing of joy celebrating Eid al-Fitr which is carried out a week after Eid al-Fitr 1 Shawal, or on the eighth day each year. This local tradition comes from the community of Colo, Dawe, Muria in Kudus Regency. This research is a library research with a qualitative method that aims to analyze the sewu kupat tradition using responsive fiqh theory. Responsive Fiqh aims at recent traditions with a sociological-philosophical approach, it is found that this tradition is a positive tradition with a series of activities in it. Abstract
The sewu kupat tradition is a tradition around the Mount Muria area.
