This paper proposes DRESR (dynamic reconfigurable ESB service routing) framework to enable the dynamic routing path construction and message routing. DRESER defines the mechanisms for routing path abstraction, instantiation, and (re)configuration. Abstract
Enterprise service bus (ESB) provides the infrastructure services for message exchange and routing in service-oriented architecture (SOA). Dynamic routing is necessary to support dynamic service selection and composition. However, current ESB software can only support fixed routing path by static configuration files and/or hard-coded rules.
