Discussion on Big Data Network Public Opinion in Colleges and Universities

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology and the extensive emergence of new media network, network public opinion has shown a fast spread, various forms, high complexity and other characteristics. However, colleges and universities have a large student groups, most of the students thinking avant-garde and new ideas, the students' behaviors and ways of doing things are easily influenced by network public opinions. Colleges and universities have become one of the main battlefields of network public opinion, and it is urgent to strengthen the analysis and governance of network public opinion in colleges and universities. This paper first elaborates the concept of network public opinion, then analyzes the current situation of big data network public opinion in university, and finally explores the ideas and suggestions of network public opinion management in colleges and universities under the background of big data.
