Abstract

Basic electrical parameters directly affect the performance of the current transformer while some distribution parameters are difficult to calculate and measure. This paper establishes the general equivalent circuit model and series equivalent impedance expression of the current transformer. A prototype is made and tested with an impedance analyzer to obtain the series equivalent impedance. Combining the impedance expression and the measurement results, through calculation and fitting, the distribution parameters of the current transformer are determined.
