Abstract

Most prominent parts of a plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) are its charging and propulsion system. These two parts are collectively referred as power electronic interface (PEI) of PEV. This paper proposes an onboard integrated charger with single-stage converter, coupled with field-oriented controlled (FOC) induction motor drive in the propulsion system.
