Abstract

This paper specifies considerations of multi network in cognitive network. Recently, in addition to the cognitive radio concept, the cognitive network framework describes a complete network structure providing cognitive abilities. In cognitive network, heterogeneous access technologies, multi radios, multi channels, multi interfaces, multi homing, and multi streaming should be practically and efficiently used. Within these environments, multi network should consider the interaction with PHY/MAC layer, network layer, transport layer, and application layer. Also, Multi network must support the cross-layer mechanism across several layers and overall end-to-end concept.
