Abstract

This paper proposes an EAPF (energy-aware packet forwarding) for wireless sensor network using traffic control of data collection point. The proposed algorithm uses a concept of active network and computing power of the data collection point, which has rich energy and computing power. It can be useful to reduce data traffic in the sensor nodes because the data collection point does not need numerous data to estimate context awareness
